Montessori Training Center Northeast

The Montessori Training Center Northeast (MTCNE) was founded in 2003 to meet the urgent need for Montessori teacher training in the Northeastern United States and is rooted in Hartford, Connecticut. Since opening as an Association Montessori Interntationale (AMI) affiliate, the Training Center has served as a hub of activity within the Montessori community. In addition to supporting AMI diploma and certificate courses at the 0-3, 3-6, 6-12, and 12-18 levels, continuing education seminars and workshops, professional development and strategic planning for Montessori schools are among the many services the Training Center offers regularly. The Training Center serves as a central location for Montessori activities by offering support for alumni and area Montessori schools.
