Montessori Society Bulgaria

At the end of 2019, the Institute Montessori Bulgaria changed its name to Montessori Society Bulgaria. Montessori Society Bulgaria is the only national organisation in Bulgaria that is affiliated society of Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), founded in 1929 by Dr. Maria Montessori as custodian of the history of the Montessori movement, responsible for articulating Montessori philosophy and practice clearly. Montessori Society Bulgaria was founded with the aim to promote Montessori pedagogy and quality Montessori education, based on authentic Montessori pedagogy and programs for children. The organisation exists to support the childhood experience in the family, primary and elementary school by supporting parents, teachers and schools to aid the child natural development from birth to maturity.
