Montessori Norge

The Norwegian Montessori Society, Montessori Norge, is a non-profit national membership organization working for the interests of all the Montessori programs in Norway. Currently, they have around 40 kindergartens (0-6) and almost 90 schools (6-15). Their mission is to spread knowledge and increase the interest for the Montessori pedagogy in Norway. They are also building bridges to international Montessori communities around the world. They publish and hold the rights to the national Montessori curriculum in Norway (government approved), and they do quality work related to this. Montessori Norge arranges several courses, seminars, and conferences for all Montessori programs in Norway, to create opportunities for networking and a culture of sharing and professional development. They are also doing lobbying work and have a close collaboration with the Montessori community and other stakeholders in education in Norway.
