Montessori Institute of Tokyo

The Tokyo International Montessori Teacher Training Center (Montessori Institute of Tokyo) is the first 3-6-year-old class teacher training center in Japan. Since the opening of the honorary director of the center, Shizuko Matsumoto on October 19, 1975, it has produced more than 2,200 international Montessori teachers. Currently, Setsuko Miura, an AMI-approved 3-6-level teacher training trainer, is engaged in the training of world-class high-quality Montessori educators who can support the full personality development of children who are responsible for the future of the earth.
In addition, our center aims to spread true Montessori education in Japan and around the world.
