Montessori Institute Finland

Suomen Montessori-instituutti (SMI), or Montessori Institute Finland, offers Montessori pedagogical training to develop the professional competence of those working in early childhood education and primary education. You can train as a Montessori teacher in early childhood education for children aged 0–3 or 3–6, or as a Montessori teacher in primary education for children aged 6–12 (primary school). Training is carried out in accordance with the international curriculum and qualification requirements of the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). The centre offers shorter training courses to get acquainted with Montessori pedagogy and tailored lectures and presentations for parents of Montessori daycare centers or primary education groups or for others interested in Montessori pedagogy.
